The Importance of Staying Well-Hydrated as an Athlete

Working out is great for the body. Pushing the limits of your body not only strengthens your muscles, but it also promotes good cardiovascular health. However, working up a sweat increases the risk of dehydration, which can lead to serious health problems. As an athlete it is important to stay well-hydrated during all parts of a workout.

What Is Dehydration?
